Silicon Maze is a 24 hour student-run hackathon organized in hybrid mode by Web Enthusiasts' Club NITK and the IEEE Student Branch of NITK, Surathkal. It is a platform for first and second year undergraduate students to showcase their skills, ideas and potential in various disciplines of Computer Science like Data Structures and Algorithms, Systems, Machine Learning and Development.
The Algo track in Silicon Maze is where contestants will showcase their exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Participants will face a series of algorithmic challenges of varying difficulties, each designed to test their ability to think critically and write efficient, correct code within a limited time frame. To excel in this track, competitors must possess a good understanding of algorithms and data structures, coupled with a sharp mind and the ability to think outside the box.
This track provides a platform for participants to showcase their expertise and knowledge in machine learning. The competition will feature a series of tasks that will challenge contestants to demonstrate their proficiency in various areas of the field, such as Generative AI, Exploratory Data Analysis, hyperparameter tuning, and architecture building.
Participants will face an exciting array of challenges testing knowledge in infosec, networking, cryptography, and web application security, covering a wide range of topics. With each challenge, individuals will have the opportunity to showcase their skills as well as their ability to think critically and creatively. Join us for an unforgettable experience that will test your mettle and push you to new heights!
Contestants will embark on an exhilarating journey through a diverse range of web technologies, delve into the thrilling realm of Web3 and experiment with APIs while mastering collaboration via Git. They will have the chance to dive into the world of real-time communication using WebSockets, revamp lacklustre UIs and explore many more exciting technologies. Gear up to leverage these cutting-edge tools to solve engaging problems!
Most of the questions are set on the basis that if you spend enough time(minimum time) reading and exploring about a topic, you will be able to get the main motive of the question. Always remember Google is your best friend.
Each problem shall have clarifications about the same
